Ehret and Gardner reclaim the crown →
Harvard’s Blodgett Pool was a veritable steam bath on this day. The only thing heavier than the air, though, was the weight lifted off Jane Ehret’s shoulders by competition’s end. The senior vindicated herself after an embarrassing disqualification in the previous year’s State finals. The joy on her face after the Gardner girls won was a spectacle.
